T-Birds Await Region IX Tournament Play.

The Casper College basketball teams concluded the regular season with losses to Eastern Wyoming in Torrington but the teams were already seeded for the upcoming Region IX tournaments. The T-Bird women finished in a tie for first in the North Sub Region but lost the tiebreaker to Western Wyoming. So Rock Springs will be the site of the tournament and the Birds will meet McCook, Nebraska on Saturday in the 1st round. The T-Bird men finished 3rd in the North Sub Region, so they'll travel to Sterling, Colorado for the Region IX tournament that will be hosted by NJC. The Birds take on Lamar, Colorado in the opening round on Sunday afternoon.
