T-Birds Sweep Little Big Horn

The Casper College basketball teams rolled to easy victories on Saturday at the Erickson with some very important games coming up on the horizon. The T-Bird women disposed of Little Big Horn 89-29 behind 14 points from Nerea Baena with 12 points coming from Emily Robertson and Jaye Johnson. The Birds are ranked 19th in the country with a 22-2 record and shot a remarkable 63% from the floor in the first half.

The T-Bird men rolled to a 119-75 win over Little Big Horn as Wilfried Likayi poured in 34 points on 11-19 from the field and 8-8 from the free throw line. Nolan Bertain returned the line-up after sitting out with an injury and contributed 27 points thats to connecting on 7, 3 pointers. The Birds are 17-7 on the season with both Casper College teams hosting Miles City Montana on Wednesday night.
