Casper College announced that the parents of Casper Police Lieutenant Danny Dundas, David and Karla Dundas, have established a scholarship for Casper College in honor of their late son.

The money is awarded to the counties from the governor.

Slightly more than 2,000 students applied this year, and the Daniels Fund awarded 230 scholarships.

Should it become law, the bill would apply to Hathaway scholarships available to eligible high school students graduating school year 2016-2017 and each year thereafter.
