Special Olympics

The annual Teddy Bear Tea returns to Casper for year number thirty-six this month, as well as the Festival of Trees event.

This event features Bocce, Bowling, Cycling, and Soccer competitions, and will see athletes, coaches, and Unified Partners assemble from across the entire state.

Summer Sports Classic this weekend

Things were holly jolly in downtown Casper for the 35th Annual Teddy Bear Tea.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas and, with that, comes the annual Festival of Trees, benefitting Special Olympics Wyoming.

Casper will have the chance to see Special Olympics Wyoming athletes up close, as its annual Fall Tournament Competition begins next week.

The Wyoming Special Olympics summer games will be held at the University of Wyoming in Laramie from May 9 through 11.

During the event, representatives from local, statewide and federal law enforcement agencies wear bright yellow while carrying the "Flame of Hope" across Wyoming.

On Monday, August 29th members of the Casper Ghosts baseball team, got together with some members of the Wyoming Special Olympics, for a day of fun on the field.
