Wyoming Cowboy wrestler and Cheyenne native Bryce Meredith had an incredible run in the NCAA tournament in New York over the weekend. the 141 pounder advanced to the national championship match before losing a heartbreaker in the title match, 3-2 to Dean Heil from Oklahoma State. Heil had the only take down of the match and Meredith came up with 2 escapes. By finishing 2nd, Meredith earned All American status and becomes the 8th All-American for a Wyoming native. The Cheyenne Central grad is just a sophomore and originally enrolled at North Carolina State. Meredith posted a 29-5 record this season and the Cowboys as a team finished 18th at the NCAA championships.
