Indoor Football and the Wyoming Cavalry found their new head football coach in Ryan Lingerfelder, who comes over from the Tri Cities Fever where he was an assistant for the last 4 years. He played his college ball at Northern Arizona. Lingerfelder also played the indoor game with a couple of teams in the late 1990's. Lingerfelder replaces Dan Maciejczak who wanted to spend more time with his family in South Dakota where he  is currently the head coach at Douglas High School outside of Rapid City.

Natrona and Kelly Walsh are back in action Friday night in 4A football. The Trojans (2-3) are in Rock Springs Friday night to play the Tigers (1-4). The Prep Game of the Week has top ranked Natrona (5-0) hosting 3rd ranked Cheyenne East (4-1). Pregame show is at 6:45pm with a 7:00 kickoff on AM 1400 ESPN.

Junior College Volleyball tonight with Casper College hosting Central Wyoming of Riverton. The T-Birds are coming off a loss to Western Wyoming of Rock Springs on Tuesday. The T-Birds are 13-9 and will face a CWC team that is currently 13th in the country. First serve is at 7:00pm from Erickson Gym.

The Colorado Rockies won their 3rd straight game, a 6-0 shutout of the Chicago Cubs  on Wednesday night at Coors Field. Former Casper player Chris Nelson had 2 hits and 2 RBI's in the game that was delayed nearly an hour and a half due to rain.
