As temperatures hit record lows with bitter wind chill factors, the Wyoming Rescue Mission in Casper is sending out a reminder to those in need that they can take refuge there to get out of the cold.

The Mission says it's serving hot meals and providing safe shelter to those who need it, according to a release. As of Thursday, February 7th, they say there are more than 80 guests staying in the new Park Street Center, and they have room for more. The Mission is inviting anyone in need of a place to stay or a hot meal to visit them at the Park Street Center, 230 N. Park Street, in Casper.

If you want to help at this time, gifts of food and new or gently used coats, hats and gloves can be delivered to the Park Street Center.

If you'd like to make a monetary donation, you can do that online at wyomission.org or mail it to P.O. Box 2030 Casper, WY 82602. The website also has more information about Mission activities and year-round programs and services.
