There are currently no fire restrictions in the park. As always, campfires are only permitted in fire rings in campgrounds and some back country campsites. All campfires must be cold to the touch before you abandon them. Officials say you should "soak, stir, feel, and repeat".

According to Park rules, smoking is prohibited in geyser basins or on trails. There is no smoking in buildings or within 25 feet of building entrances.
