Men's college basketball tonight as the Wyoming Cowboys with a road game at SMU. The Pokes are 12-0 going into tonight's match up but will be playing without their second leading scorer Luke Martinez. Martinez suffered a broken bone in his right hand due to an off campus incident. Martinez is averaging 14 points a game and is one of the team's top defenders. SMU comes in at 10-4. Tip-off tonight is at 6:00pm. Cowboy basketball can be heard on AM 1030 KTWO.

New Year's Day brought a bowl 'o rama of college football games. Stanford won the Rose Bowl for the first time since 1972 beating Wisconsin 20-14. Stanford's running game produced over 200 yards. The Cardinal finished the season at 12-2. Wisconsin ends the year at 7-6.

in the Orange Bowl, Florida State defeated Northern Illinois 31-10 thanks to 134 yards rushing and 2 touchdowns from Lonnie Pryor. It was the first loss for Northern Illinois in 13 games.

Northwestern won a bowl game for the first time since 1949 as they disposed of Mississippi State 34-20 in the Gator Bow, which was college football's longest post season bowl losing streak. The game featured 7 interceptions and 6 touchdowns.

Sixth ranked Georgia ran by 23rd ranked Nebraska 45-31 in the Capital One Bowl. Georgia quarterback Aaron Murray threw 5 touchdown passes as the Bulldogs finished 12-2.

11th ranked South Carolina got a late touchdown to beat 19th ranked Michigan 33-28 in the Outback Bowl. South Carolina finished the season 11-2 and now have back-to-back 11 win seasons.

Oklahoma State crushed Purdue 58-14 in the Heart of Dallas Bowl. Tonight will be the Sugar Bowl from New Orleans as third ranked Florida takes on 22nd ranked Louisville.

In the NBA, the Denver Nuggets beat the Los Angeles Clippers Tuesday night 92-78 snapping  the Clippers 17 game win streak. Danilo Gallinari had 17 points to lead the Nuggets who have now won 8 games in a row at home and are 18-15 on the season. Denver will host Minnesota Thursday night.

The remaining tickets to the Denver Broncos' playoff game are all gone.
It took just nine minutes for all of the 5,000 tickets to disappear once they went on sale at noon Monday. Sales were limited to people with billing addresses in Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, Wyoming, Nebraska, Montana, South Dakota and western Kansas.
Spokesman Patrick Smyth told The Denver Post that the sale ``speaks volumes for the fan enthusiasm the region holds for the team.''
The Broncos' 22,000 season ticket holders were given the first chance to buy playoff tickets earlier. All but 500 purchased some.
The Broncos secured the top seed in the playoffs on Sunday with their biggest win ever over the Kansas City Chiefs, their AFC West rivals.
The AFC divisional playoff game will be Saturday Jan. 12 at 2:30 p.m.
