The Casper Oilers American Legion baseball team had an epic slugfest with the Green River Knights on Monday night at Lansing Field. The Oilers scored the first 5 runs of the game but found themselves behind 19-8 after 4 and a half innings of play. Casper responded with 11 runs in the bottom of the 5th, 4 more in the bottom of the 7th, 6 more in the bottom of the 8th to edge Green River 30-29. There were 55 hits and 28 walks in the contest and every Casper player had a hit. Brayden Deere went 4-8 with 3 RBI's and 3 runs scored. Chris Nelson went 4-7 with 3 RBI's and 3 runs scored. Casper improved to 22-19 on the year with road games in Laramie on Tuesday and then Sheridan on Wednesday
