Cowboys On The Road At Illinois State Tonight-Daily Sports Update

The Wyoming Cowboys are on the road tonight at Illinois State, part of the Mountain West-Missouri Valley Challenge. The Pokes are 8-0 after defeating Colorado on Saturday night at the AA 76-69. The loss dropped Colorado out of the top 25. Last week the Buffs were ranked 19th. Illinois State a good team is 5-2 with a 3 point loss to 5th ranked Louisville and the Redbirds had a 13 point lead in that game. There other loss came at the hands of Northwestern out of the Big Ten Conference. Tip off is at 6pm tonight from Normal, Illinois on AM 1030 KTWO.

In the NBA, the Denver Nuggets broke a 3 game losing streak with a 113-110 win over Toronto last night. Corey Brewer led the Nuggets with 19 points and Javale McGee with 17. Denver with the win gets back to .500 with a 9-9 record.

Monday Night Football saw the Washington Redskins win their 3rd in the row beating the New York Giants 17-16. Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III accounted for 235 yards of total offense as Washington improves to 6-6 just a game behind the Giants who lead the NFC East with a 7-5 record.
