In Major League Baseball, it's the last night of the regular season and one playoff spot is up for grabs. The New York Yankees have a one game lead over Baltimore in the AL East. Both the Yankees and Orioles won yesterday, so one team will win the division and one team will be the wildcard team. If the Yankees lose, and O's win they will play a game Thursday to determine the division title. The Yankees host Boston and Baltimore is at Tampa. Oakland beat Texas  last night and now they're tied atop the AL West. They play this afternoon for the title. Both will be in the playoffs. In the National League, St. Louis was battling Los Angeles for the last wildcard berth, but both teams lost last night so the Dodgers were eliminated and the Cardinals make it as the final team in the playoffs in the NL.

The Colorado Rockies lost to the Arizona Diamondbacks last night 5-3. Aaron Hill hit a 3 run homer in the bottom of the 9th inning to give Arizona the win. Those two teams wrap up the season tonight.
