Youth Flag Football League Registration Begins

The Casper Recreation department and the Boys and Girls Club are excited to announce the upcoming Flag Football season. This is a great opportunity for young kids to learn the basic fundamentals of Football in a safe environment. Participants will be divided into groups based on their grade. If needed, grades will be combined based on number of children.

All games and practices will be scheduled in the evenings on the outfields of the North Casper softball fields. Games or practices will be scheduled 2 times per week per team throughout the six-week season. The season is scheduled to begin on September 12th, 2011. In 2010, over 525 kids participated in Youth Flag Football.

Registration for the Ultimate Football League will be accepted up until Wednesday, August 31^st at the Casper Recreation Center, and the Boys and Girls Club. The Rec Center is located at 1801 East 4^th Street. The Boys and Girls Club is located at 1701 E. K Street.

The registration fee is $30.00. There are scholarships available through Community Recreation Foundation at the Recreation Center.

There are available positions for coaches and referees. If you are interested in becoming a coach or officiating, you can contact the Boys and Girls Club or the Casper Recreation Division.
