An assistant coach with the University of Wyoming football program has been suspended indefinitely after being charged with driving under the influence.

Head Coach Craig Bohl announced the suspension of safeties coach Willie Mack Garza in a statement Friday.

According to the statement, Garza was charged with DUI on the evening of Thursday, Oct. 17.

The university said there would be no further comment on the matter from UW athletics personnel.
