The Denver Broncos host the Kansas City Chiefs in the regular season finale Sunday afternoon. KC is out of the playoff picture, but the Broncos have plenty to play for, the PLAYOFFS.

A win by the Broncos and they're in or a Oakland loss. If both Denver (8-7)  and Oakland (8-7) lose the Broncos  would qualify on a tie-breaker. The Broncos are coming off a 40-14 loss to Buffalo last Saturday.

In college football bowl parade, Air Force lost to Toledo Wednesday in the Military Bowl in Washington D.C. 42-41, so the Mountain West Conference goes 1-4 in bowl games this year. Also Texas beat Cal 21-10 in the Holiday Bowl.

Also in college football, the Wyoming Cowboys have hired veteran coach Chris Tormey as they're new Defensive Coordinator. Tormey is the former head coach at Idaho and Nevada and worked as an assistant at Washington State last year. He'll replace Marty English who was demoted to linebackers coach. Tormey will begin his 33rd season as a college coach in 2012.

The Wyoming Cowgirls are at home tonight when they host Bowling Green at the AA. It's been a struggle for the Cowgirls to score as they are 4-7 on the season, but have won 3 of their last 4. Bowling Green comes to Laramie with a 8-3 record. Tip-off tonight at the AA will be at 7:00pm.

And in the NBA from last night, the Denver Nuggets ran by the Utah Jazz 117-110. Nene with 25 points and Ty Lawson contributed 15 for the Nuggets. Denver is now 2-0 in the early season.
