Spring Training officially starts today with pitchers and catchers reporting. The Colorado Rockies did sign former Casper player Dexter Fowler to a 2-year deal worth $11.6-million. He'll get $3.25-million this season and $7.35-million next season. Fowler is coming off a year where he posted career highs in batting average, home runs, RBI's and games played. He hit .300, with 13 home runs, 53 runs batted in and played in 143 games.

The Casper College basketball teams are back on the road Wednesday night when they travel to Powell to take on Northwest College. Both T-Bird teams are coming off road wins at Miles City Community College, Montana on Saturday. The women play at 5:30pm with the men at 7:30 on AM 1400 ESPN.

The latest men college basketball poll is out and Colorado State breaks into the top 25 for the first time since 1959. The Rams are ranked 24th. CSU is 19-4 overall and 6-2 in Mountain West Conference play and have won 26 straight home games.

Former Wyoming football coach Dennis Erickson is coming out of retirement. He's been hired to be the co-offensive coordinator at Utah. This will be Erickson's 4th Pac 12 school that he's coached at, being at Washington State, Oregon State and Arizona State. Erickson also won 2 national titles at Miami. Utah went 5-7 this past season.

The Prep Game of the Week has Natrona at Riverton in boys basketball this Thursday night. Pregame show is at 7:15pm with the tip-off at 7:30 on AM 1400 ESPN.
