Billings Comes Back To Down Ghosts 7-6

The Billings Mustangs scored three times in the bottom of the ninth inning to beat the Casper Ghosts 7-6 Thursday night. It was the Ghosts 11th loss in the last 13 games.

Angel Reyes and Rosell Herrera hit home runs for the Ghosts. Casper drops to 11-14 and five games behind Orem in the South Division. Game two tonight on AM 1400 ESPN.

The football season kicks off tonight with both Casper schools opening up the season at home. Kelly Walsh will host Cheyenne East at Harry Geldein Stadium. Kickoff is at 7:00 with pregame show at 6:45pm on AM 1030 KTWO. Natrona plays host to the newest team in 4A football, Cheyenne South. Kickoff from Cheney Field at 7:00pm.

High school cross country and swimming today in Casper. Cross country will be on Casper Mountain at Bear Trap Meadow. And the Casper Relays at Kelly Walsh this afternoon.
