It's one of Casper's favorite holiday traditions, taking you back in time to experience Christmas on the frontier. Candlelight Christmas at Fort Caspar will take place December 1st, 2018, from 5:30pm to 8:30pm.

The Fort Buildings will be illuminated only by candlelight for the evening and characters from the past will be brought to life by army, pioneer, and mountain men re-enactors.

Visitors are encouraged to bundle up for the weather, but if you need a warm-up you can find more activities inside the museum including free hot chocolate and cookies, live music, crafts for the kids, exhibits, and holiday shopping at the museum store.

Candlelight Christmas at Fort Caspar is free and open to all, brought to you by the Fort Caspar Museum and the Fort Caspar Museum Association. If you'd like more information, your can visit their website at or call (307) 235-8462.  The Fort Casper Museum is located at 4001 Fort Caspar Road.
