Casper College Season Comes to an End

The Casper College men's basketball team was eliminated from the Region IX in the semi-final round as they lost to Gillette College 81-63 on Friday night in Gillette.The T-Birds trailed by just 3 in the first half but were outscored 49-34 in the 2nd half. Ted McCree led the Pronghorns with 23. Casper had 4 players in double figures led by Deonte Strickland with 18 and Josh McSwiggan added 14. The Birds finish the season at 23-9 and Gillette College will play LCCC from Cheyenne for the Region IX championship on Saturday with a trip to the Juco National Tournament in Hutchinson, Kansas on the line.
