Casper College Women To Host Region Tournament

The Casper College women's basketball team with two wins this past weekend have locked up the Central sub-region title and the chance to host the Region-IX tournament the first week of March. The T-Birds defeated Central Wyoming in Riverton Friday night and Western Wyoming in Rock Springs on Saturday afternoon.

The T-Birds remain unbeaten in sub-region play at 7-0 and 17-7 overall. The T-Bird men spilt with a win at Central Wyoming Friday and a loss at Western Wyoming on Saturday. That loss gave Western the Central sub-region crown. T-Bird men are 5-2 in sub-region play and 18-7 overall. Both teams are off until Feb. 15th when they play at Western Nebraska. Those games will be AM 1400 ESPN.
