Geoff Parker made his professional debut in Orem, and after a shaky first inning did not allow a hit in his final four frames, but the Ghosts came up short, losing 3-2 to the Orem Owlz at Brent Brown Ballpark, which drops them to 1-3 this season.

For the third time in the four game series the Owlz scored in the first inning. It started with a leadoff triple by Taylor Lindsay, who scored on a ground out by Ryan Jones. Kaleb Cowart walked, but was erased when Andrew Ray hit into a fielders choice, but Ray scored on a triple by Abel Baker to make it 2-0 Orem, and then Baker scored on a bloop single by Jarrod Parks.

Parker did not allow another run or hit the rest of the game. He allowed three runs on three hits in five innings, walking one a striking out two.
