The Casper Ghosts (7-16) had multiple opportunities to take the lead in their return to Casper, but couldn't get the hits when they needed them, losing to the Missoula Osprey (13-10) 7-4. Here's Adam Spolane's game re-cap:

The Casper Ghosts fell behind 5-0 in the first game of a 3-game series against the Missoula Osprey, but they had their chances to comeback. They had the tying on on base in the eight, and brought the tying run to the plate in ninth, but fell short, losing 7-4 at Mike Lansing Field.

Missoula wasted no time taking the lead. With one out in the top of the first Josh Parr singled, then he stole second and got to third on a single by Ryan Court. Parr scored on a sacrifice fly on Jon Griffin, and Court scored on a double Tom Belza who scored on a double by Stephen Cardullo to make it 3-0 Missoula.

The added a pair of runs in the second after the first two batters were retired. Chris Ellison walked, then Parr singled. Ellison scored on a single by Court, and Parr scored on a double by Griffin to make it 5-0 Osprey.
