For the most part, the Casper basketball teams had a solid road trip to Jackson and Evanston. The Kelly Walsh boys posted 2 wins, beating Evanston on Friday 51-36 and taking a 78-43 decision from Jackson on Saturday. Manny N'Tula paced the Trojans with 16 points in that Jackson game with Jaxon Hiatt throwing in 15. KW is now 14-3 overall and 7-1 in the 4A West. It was a tough trip for the Natrona boys as they lost to Jackson on Friday 49-48 despite 15 points from Brennan Hagar. The Mustangs also lost to Evanston 46-35 and played both games without their leading scorer, Logan Harbaugh who was out with a bad ankle. NC is now 2-16 on the year and 1-7 in conference play. On the girls side, Natrona punched their ticket to the state tournament with a couple of victories. On Friday, the Fillies ran by Jackson 68-26 thanks to 20 points from Amber Johnson. On Saturday, NC improved to 13-5 overall and 8-0 in the 4A west with a 50-37 win over Evanston. For the moment, the Kelly Walsh girls sit in 2nd place in the 4A West at 5-3 after a 37-36 win over Evanston on Friday, coupled with a 69-57 victory over Jackson on Saturday. Jamia Johnson was KW's leading scorer on Saturday with 24. Both of the Casper schools will be host the Sweetwater County schools on Friday and Saturday
