Casper College basketball player Collin Russell will continue his athletic career at UC-Davis, outside of Sacramento. This past season, the 6-10 forward averaged 9 points and nearly 5 rebounds per game. He did miss a small portion of the season with an injury but was a productive player in the post. Russell transferred to Casper College after a year at Portland State and joins a UC-Davis program that qualified for the NCAA Tournament this past season. The Aggies beat North Carolina Central in the First Four game and then lost to Kansas to finish the year 23-13. UC Davis was the Big West Conference champions.
