
Cowgirls Earn #2 Seed at MWC Tournament
The Wyoming Cowgirl basketball team finished the regular season with a 68-59 road win over San Jose State on Friday which gave them a #2 seed in the Mountain West Conference Tournament in Las Vegas. The Cowgirls went 13-5 in conference action and 21-8 overall and they'll play either Fresno State or Nevada on Tuesday at 5pm. If Nevada advances, it will be the first time these 2 schools have played in the MWC Tournament. UW has played Fresno State 3 times in the conference tournament and split their regular season games with the Bulldogs. Wyoming has an all time record of 7-17 in MWC Tournament play. Colorado State is the #1 seed in the tournament thanks to a 15-3 league mark and a 23-7 overall record.
