
Cowgirls Edge CSU, Earning Regular Season Split
The Wyoming Cowgirls held off Mountain West Conference regular season champion Colorado State in Laramie on Tuesday night 56-49 to up their record to 20-8 overall and 12-5 in league play. The Cowgirls were led in scoring by Natalie Baker with 18 with Bailee Cotton adding 10 points and 9 rebounds a game. The win certainly enhances the Cowgirls post season hopes after next week's MWC Tournament. CSU has been a traditional power in the league and the Rams sit at 22-7 overall and 14-3 in league play. The Cowgirls will wrap up the regular season on Saturday at San Jose State.
