Kaitlyn Mileto scored 14 points and surpassed 1000 in her career, and the Wyoming Cowgirls won easily at the Air Force Academy over the Falcons, 73-32, Wednesday night in Colorado Springs.

Mileto knocked down a 3-pointer with 13:00 left in the first half to join the prestigious 1000-point club. She becomes the 22nd player in school history to accomplish the feat. Mileto did it with her second trey of the game. She finished with three and also moved into 4th place for the most 3-point field goals made in a UW career. She now has 185.

Wyoming (19-7, 10-5) dominated from the opening tip, as they won their second road game in Mountain West Conference play. The Cowgirls jumped out to a 14-5 lead early. Then they closed the first half on a 17-3 run and held a 34-11 advantage at half. The blowout continued in the second half, as the lead reached 45 points before the final margin of 41.

Kayla Woodward actually led UW with 19 points. Marquelle Dent added 12 points and nine assists. A total of nine of the 11 Cowgirls that played, scored in the game. Wyoming shot only 43.5 percent in the game, but finished with 24 assists on 27 made field goals. They also scored 28 points off Falcon turnovers.

Air Force (1-24, 0-15) was paced by Camille Thompson with nine points. The Falcons shot 28 percent from the field and had 23 turnovers in the game.

The Wyoming Cowgirls go back on the road Saturday, March 1 for a MW game at Boise State. The game is scheduled for a 2 p.m. start, Mountain Time.
