The Wyoming Cowgirls continue their winning way in the Mountain West Conference Saturday at home beating Boise State 77-60. Chaundra Sewell had 22 points for the Cowgirls with Ashley Sickles adding 14. The Cowgirls are 18-4 overall and 7-2 in the conference. They'll be at Nevada on Wednesday.

The Wyoming Cowboys with another loss in the Mountain West Conference at Boise State Saturday 68-61. The Pokes were down by 18 points at halftime, but rallied in the second half and got as close as 5 points. Derrious Gilmore had 26 points in leading the Pokes. Leonard Washington added 18 points and 15 rebounds. The Cowboys played without Larry Nance Jr. who was out with an injured wrist. U-W falls to 2-8 in conference play and 16-7 overall. Boise State improves to 4-5 in the league and 16-7 overall. The Cowboys return home Wednesday to host Nevada.

The Casper College basketball teams took two from Miles City Community College on the road on Saturday. The men won 70-57 as Remi Debo led the T-Birds with 16 points, 14 of which were in the 2nd half. The T-Birds go to 10-2 in Region-IX play and 19-6 overall. The Lady T-Birds also picked up a W with a 60-44 win. Agata Dobrowolska had 18 points and 9 rebounds. Both T-Bird teams will be in Powell on Wednesday night to play Northwest College and can be heard on AM 1400 ESPN.

The Casper high school basketball teams were matched up with Evanston and Green River over the weekend. Both Natrona teams picked up wins with the boys at home and the girls on the road. Kelly Walsh teams split with both losing to Evanston and picking up wins over Green River. The Natrona boys and girls will be in Riverton on Thursday night. AM 1400 ESPN will have coverage of the boys game. The Kelly Walsh teams will be at home Friday night to host Rock Springs.

The Denver Nuggets saw their 9 game win streak come to a stop as they lost to Boston in triple overtime 118-114. Boston stretched their win streak to 8 games.
