A Wyoming man and two French nationals have been identified as the people killed in a fiery crash Tuesday afternoon near Thermopolis.

Kolten Moss, 18, of Wyoming, was driving a Dodge pickup which collided with a Winnebago that carried 75-year-old Ib Jensen and 72-year-old Elsebeth Jensen of France, according to a crash report from the Wyoming Highway Patrol.

The Dodge was southbound on Highway 120 shortly after noon Tuesday. Near milepost 26, the Dodge crossed the centerline and the northbound lane, exiting the highway.

Investigators believe Moss overcorrected the Dodge back toward the highway and into oncoming traffic. The Winnebago was northbound when the Dodge entered its path of travel.

The vehicles collided head-on and became fully engulfed in flames.

Witnesses told state troopers that the Dodge had been swerving before the collision. Alcoholic beverage containers were located at the scene.

"Suspected alcohol use, fatigue, or distracted driving by the driver of the Dodge appear to have been contributing factors but it is impossible to confirm," the report concludes.
