It's not everyday that you see an athlete with Olympic aspirations, but Casper has one in former Natrona stand-out Bailee Gibson. She competed in the Olympic Trials in both the shot and discus and made the finals in each event. Unfortunately, she will not be competing in London and now is gearing up for Brazil in 2016. Gibson won multiple state championships in the shot put and discus and owns the overall state records in both events. Gibson was in Casper over the weekend to help put on a throwing camp at Kelly Walsh High School. Gibson sat out a year at the University of Arizona due to a knee injury.
