High pressure will dominate the weather in the Cowboy State for the next couple of days.  That and mostly sunny to sunny skies will make for warm temperatures.  Highs will range from the mid and upper 60s in the higher elevations to the upper 80s in the southeast.  Lows will cool into the 40s and 50s.

A couple of isolated late day thunderstorms cannot be ruled out this afternoon and this evening, especially in the mountains, southeast and northeast.  On Saturday a weather disturbance moving within the ridge of high pressure will bring in more atmospheric energy and a better chance for scattered thunderstorms.

Sunday’s weather looks to stay warm as well.  The southeast could see a few isolated late day thunderstorms.
