Kayla Woodward Garners All-Region Honor

For the first time in her career, University of Wyoming junior forward Kayla Woodward was named to the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) All-Region VII squad Tuesday.

Woodward was selected First Team All-Mountain West earlier this year, and named to the MW Championships All-Tournament team for a second consecutive year.

She led the Cowgirls during the 2013-14 season in scoring and three-point field goal percentage, and finished second on the team in rebounding.

This is the second straight year a Wyoming Cowgirl received this recognition. Former Cowgirl Chaundra Sewell earned the same distinction a year ago.
