Kelly Walsh Trojans Stumble Out of the Gate Against Gillette, 54-0 [VIDEO]

The Kelly Walsh Trojans opened the 2014 prep football season on the road in Gillette to take on the Campbell County Camels.

The Trojans with a young squad this season went up against a bigger and faster camel team that controlled the line of scrimmage for four quarters.  Sophomore quarterback in Cam Carter had a rough first start, but played with lots of heart and took several hard hits only to jump right back up.

Gillette started the 2014 season with a few new faces in key positions and once the first game jitters wore off, they went to work.  Scoring 3 times in the opening quarter and racking up a 40 point lead at the half.  In the second half, the camels started rotating in a few second string personnel and still added 2 more touchdowns in the second half.
