With all of the attention on the current NFL lockout, being a football fan has never been more frustrating. The owners say the NFLPA never intended on working out a deal. The NFLPA says the owners refusal to open their books proves they are not being completely truthful in their claim of financial stress. Do you side with owners, thinking "no business owner needs to show his employees financial numbers"? Or do you lean towards the players view of "we do all the work, take all the punishment, we deserve more!"?

Hard for this middle class writer to feel sympathy for either side...Quit your whining and get back to work, I say.

Ok, so that's not TOTALLY fair...but neither is a player, who makes more than $10 million a year, comparing his job to slavery.
