Rockies Drop 5-0 Decision To The Tigers-Daily Sports Update

The 112th U.S. Open Golf Tournament from the Olympic Club in San Francisco, it was a war of attrition but Webb Simpson wins his first major with a 2 under 68 in the final round and finished one over par for the tournament. Simpson started 4 shots down. Then watched other players fall by the wayside as Jim Furyk faded down the stretch. Graham McDowell and Michael Thompson finished 2nd, one stroke in back of Simpson.

In the NBA Finals, Miami now leads Oklahoma City 2 games to 1 with a 91-85 win Sunday. Lebron James had 29 points and 14 rebounds for the Heat who rallied from 10 down at one point. Kevin Durant led Oklahoma City with 25.  Game-4 will be Tuesday night in Miami.
