The Colorado Rockies lost to the San Francisco Giants 6-3 on Tuesday night. Giants pitcher Tim Lincecum struck out 6 over 6 1/30-innings of work.

Rockies catcher and former Casper player Wilin Rosario hit his 25th home run of the year, tying the team record for a rookie set by Todd Helton back in 1998.

The Denver Broncos with a little taste of reality back on Monday night as they lost to Atlanta 27-21. Quarterback Peyton Manning threw 3 first quarter interceptions that led to 10 Falcon points. It's the first time that Manning has thrown 3 interceptions in the first quarter of a game. The Broncos (1-1) host the Houston (2-0). The Texans' defense has yielded only 17 points in the first two games.

The Annual Oil Bowl football game will be played this Saturday night at Harry Geldein Stadium as Kelly Walsh host Natrona. The Trojans (2-2) are coming off a 41-21 loss at Gillette on Friday. The Mustangs (4-0) took care of Rock Springs at home Friday night 58-7. Kickoff is at 6:00pm with the pregame show at 5:45 on AM 1400 ESPN.

Four of the five number 1 ranked teams remained on top in this week's Wyopreps.com, Coach's and Media Football Poll. The only team to fall from the top spot was in 2A where Lovell falls to number 3 after losing to then number 2 Lyman 20-6. Lyman is the new number 1.
