The Colorado Rockies lost their 7th straight game, a 10-8 decision to the Oakland A's Wednesday night at Coors Field. The Rockies had a 2 run lead at one point thanks to a grand slam home run by Todd Helton, but the A's rallied with 3 runs in the top of the 9th inning for the win.

The two teams wrap up their series this afternoon in Denver.

Matt Cain of San Francisco threw a perfect game Wednesday night against Houston 10-0. Cain struck out 14 in the Giants first perfect game in history.

The Casper Cutthroats collegiate team lost to Laramie on the road Wednesday night 8-2. Laramie scored 5 times in the 5th inning. The Cutthroats will be in Cheyenne tonight.

The College National Finals Rodeo moves into another evening session tonight at the Casper Events Center at 7pm. On the ladies side, Central Wyoming College of Riverton is currently running 2nd in the team standings. On the men's side, the Univesity of Wyoming is in 12th place in the team standings. The CNFR finals will be held Saturday night at the Events Center.

The U.S. Open Golf Tournament is under way today at the historic Olympic Club in San Francisco. Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson and Master's champion Bubba Watson are paired together in the first two rounds.

And It's game 2 of the NBA Finals tonight with Miami at Oklahoma City. The Thunder won game 1 on Monday night. 105-94.
