The Colorado Rockies won their third straight game Wednesday afternoon, a 7-6 win over the Milwaukee Brewers at Coors Field. The Rockies with two runs in the bottom of the ninth inning for the win.

Tyler Colvin got the game winning hit down the left field line driving in a couple of former Casper players, Wilin Rosario and Eric Young Jr. Another former Casper player Chris Nelson drove in three runs. The Rockies continue their home stand tonight when they host the Miami Marlins.

Also in baseball, Seattle's Felix Hernandez threw a perfect game beating Tampa Bay 1-0. He struck out 12. It's the third perfect game this season and sixth no hitter this year.

College football and the Wyoming Cowboys are in the process of getting ready for the season opener at Texas on Sept. 1st. The Pokes receiving corp will have four juniors and four sophomores  and just one senior in Chris McNeil who was hurt in the Air Force game last season and missed the final three games of the season. When McNeil got hurt he was the team's leading receiver with 42 receptions for 504 yards. The Cowboys will conduct their second scrimmage this Saturday morning at 10am in Laramie.

Denver Bronco linebacker D.J. Williams was convicted of ability impaired driving for an incident back in November. Williams is already is facing a six game suspension for failing an off season drug test. Injuries are also mounting up in the Broncos camp. Defensive End Jason Hunter had surgery on his torn triceps and is out for four months. And Offensive lineman Chris Kuper had surgery on his broken left forearm and is out 4-6 weeks.
