The biggest hit on the first weekend of the college football season didn’t even happen on the field.
NFL Hall of Famer Ronnie Lott achieved a level of embarrassment most of us we’ll never know when he fell out of his chair while doing a studio show this past weekend on the Pac 12 Network.
Lott, who was known for delivering pounding hits in his days with the 49ers, went down harder than some of the receivers he dropped on many a Sunday.
At least he can laugh about it. And so can we.
