The Casper College Men's and Women's basketball teams swept Eastern Wyoming College of Torrington Saturday afternoon for Homecoming at Swede Erickson Gym. The women remained unbeaten in Central sub-region play as they throttled the Lancers 86-27. The T-Birds scored the first ten points and never looked back.  Casper led 49-12 at half. The T-Birds  were led in scoring by Rosalie Cutri with 16 points, 8 rebounds and 5 steals. Sherece Huddlin with 13 points and 7 rebounds. Lindsey Fearing chipped with 11 points. The T-Bird defense limited the leading scorer in Region IX, Krystal Pittman (21.5 ppg) to seven points on 3 of 20 shooting.

In the men's game, the T-Birds got balanced scoring as they beat the Lancers 77-62. Demetrius Lee led Casper College with 16. Gilles Tacita with 14, Sam Johnson, 12 and Cobi Eskew with 10 points leading the T-Birds. Jarrett Upchurch led Eastern Wyoming with 13 points.

The T-Birds hit the road for a couple of very important sub-region matchups this Friday and Saturday. On Friday the T-Birds will be in Riverton to play  Central Wyoming with the women playing at 5:30 and the men at 7:30 pm. And then on to Rock Springs  Saturday afternoon to play Western Wyoming College. The T-Bird women lead the Central sub-region with a 5-0 record and 15-7 overall. The men are 17-6 overall and 4-1 with their only loss in January, winning nine of  ten to Western Wyoming. All four games this weekend will be on AM 1400 ESPN.
