The Casper College basketball teams came up with big wins on Tuesday night over Region IX rival Western Nebraska at the Erickson Gym. In the women's game, the T-Birds hung on for a 58-57 win to hand the Lady Cougars just their 2nd loss of the season. Western was ranked 22nd in the nation but made just 1 of 12 3 point attempts. Casper's Allysa Big Man connected on 2 free throws with 9 seconds to go to put the Birds up for good. Gabby Johnson led the way for C.C with 12 as they improved to 17-6 on the year.

The Casper College men prevailed over Western Nebraska 70-64 to climb to 17-6 on the year. The T-birds received a terrific game from Hakeem Rogers who finished with 30 points, 22 of those in the 2nd half. Casper trailed by as any as 13 in this game and now have won 2 in a row. Both C.C. teams will be on the road in Miles City, Montana on Friday.
