We have many local photographers here in Casper and even more statewide. Each and every one of them has taken incredible photos and put in hours of work to make them look as good as possible. We do however have one guy who is putting his work, up for a chance to be nationally recognized.

Hawaii became the first state to officially recognize surfing as a high school sport, which will take effect by the spring of 2013. Funding for the program will come from the private sector and the community.

The aftermath of the 8.9 earthquake that struck Japan yesterday has touched the lives of Bryce Reece of the Wyoming Wool Growers Association and his family. The Reece family is currently on vacation in Hawaii on the island of Oahu.
