Casper will be well represented at the State High School Soccer Tournament starting on Thursday with both Kelly Walsh teams qualifying as well as the Natrona Boys

The Kelly Walsh girls lost to Jackson on Friday night 3-2 after a long shoot-out after regulation but bounced back to beat Green River 6-0 on Saturday to grab a #3 seed for the state tournament. The Lady Trojans have enjoyed a fine season with a 12-4 record and will meet Cheyenne East at 2:30 on Thursday afternoon.

The Kelly Walsh boys will be #2 seed at the state tournament after splitting their regional tournament games. The Trojans defeated Green River on Friday 2-0 but lost to Rock Springs 3-0 on Saturday. KW is 8-5-2 on the year and will take on Gillette in the opening round on Thursday morning at 11:30.

The Natrona boys punched their ticket to the state tournament with a 3-0 win over Evanston on Thursday. The Mustangs lost a tough 2-1 decision on Friday and a 4-3 shoot-out loss to Green River on Saturday to earn a #4 seed at state. NC has a record of 7-9-1 and will take on Cheyenne Central in round one Thursday morning. The Natrona girls lost to Jackson on Thursday and did not qualify for the state tournament.
