UW Board of Trustees Appoint Dr. McGinity Full-Time President

The UW Board of Trustees announced yesterday afternoon that Dr. Richard McGinity will be the 25th president of the University of Wyoming. McGinity was serving as interim president due to the  abrubt resignation of former president Steinberg in Nov. of 2013. UW Board of Trustees' President, Dave Bostrom, says McGinity's reputation made him a logical choice:

McGinity has a contract through June 30,2016; he stated that his mindset has not changed from the time he was first appointed as interim president:
