Woman Seriously Injured in Hit-and-Run Early Saturday in Casper
Casper police are investigating after a woman was hit by a truck while crossing Ash Street in the area of the Office Bar and the Gaslight Social shortly before 2 a.m. Saturday.
A man driving a pickup truck hit the woman before he left the scene, Casper Police Department Public Information Officer Rebekah Ladd said. The woman was taken by ambulance to Wyoming Medical Center with serious injuries.
A detailed description of the vehicle was not available.
Police have since made contact with the driver of the truck, but no arrests have been made.
