One bicyclist got quite a surprise when traversing the Wyoming part of the TransAmerica Bike Trail. His journey was interrupted by a herd of some of Wyoming's beautiful wild horses.

If you're not familiar with the TransAmerica Trail, it crosses America from Yorktown, Virginia to Astoria, Oregon. It covers almost the entire state of Wyoming from one end to the next.

This rider was on the part between Rawlins and West Yellowstone. He is stopped in his track by one of Wyoming's famous wild horses which inspires him to get out the phone camera.

The horses just casually stroll by the rider and don't seem bothered by the new attention. But, the guy did find a Wyoming resident who wasn't so friendly.

If you have ever dreamed of a long bicycle quest, the TransAmerica Trail is definitely one to consider. You never know when some Wyoming wild horses might pay you an unforgettable visit.
