Casper Settles with Former Police Chief
The Casper City Council announced at 1:30 this afternoon that they had reached a settlement with former Police Chief Jim Wetzel on his claim of wrongful termination.
It appears that the big issue was Wetzel’s retirement, and the Council agreed to allow Wetzel one day of nominal employment last December so he could buy into the Wyoming Retirement System.
Below is the essential part of the agreement that was sent to the press.
