Cheyenne Post 6 To Host Firecracker Tournament This Weekend

The 4th of July in Cheyenne means warm temperatures, fireworks, barbecues, family, and America's pastime.

Cheyenne Post 6 and the Cheyenne Hawks will again this year host the annual Firecracker Tournament at Powers Field. Action begins Thursday, July 2nd and continues through Sunday, July 5th.

This year, teams from Laramie, Casper, Sheridan, and Colorado will participate. Along with the team that gets the "furthest traveled award" - Lubbock, Texas!

Thursday, July 2nd:

Sheridan Troopers at Cheyenne Post 6 – 2pm

Laramie Rangers vs. Parker, CO Gameday – 2pm

Golden, CO Catalyst at Cheyenne Post 6 – 4:30pm

Casper Oilers at Cheyenne Hawks – 7pm

Friday, July 3rd:

Sheridan Troopers vs. Lubbock, TX – 2pm

Casper Oilers vs. Parker, CO Gameday – 2pm

Laramie Rangers vs. Longmont, CO Pro Swing – 4:30pm

NoCo Bandits at Cheyenne Post 6 – 7pm

Laramie Rangers at Cheyenne Hawks – 7pm
