The Cody Broncs prevailed in the 3A High School Football Championship game as they shut-out Douglas 19-0 at War Memorial Stadium in Laramie on Friday. Cody earned their first state title since 1991 with a stifling defensive performance, holding Douglas to just 137 offensive yards. Cody Running back Carter Myers had 239 yards rushing on 28 carries with a touchdown  and also registered 8 tackles on defense with a sack. The Broncs finished the season 10-1 and avenged a loss to Douglas in the 2nd week of the season. The Bearcats wrap up the season with a 9-2 record.
