The Mountain View Buffaloes rallied from 12 points down to defeat Big Horn 28-19 in the 2A State Football Championship at War Memorial Stadium in Laramie. Running back Austin Houskeeper ran for 177 yards and 2 touchdowns while the Buff defense held Big Horn to just 7 first downs. Houskeeper also had 8 tackles and a sack on defense. It was the first state title for Mountain View since 1997 and reeled off 10 straight wins to end the season. Big Horn who beat Mountain View in last years state championship game lost their first game of the year to finish at 10-1
